I am always humbled by your commitment and thoroughness. You are such a great asset to us all. Thank you
great guide - thanks!
Very Helpful Study Guide
I would highly recommend this course to other O&M instructors just so they are aware that it is not always appropriate to cross when it is "all quiet" or with the surge of parallel traffic. THANK YOU!!!
It is very useful information but such an overload at once it is a bit overwhelming.
I thought the information was great. It was a definite eye opener as to the way I have been teaching. It seems as though what I was taught, so many years ago is not the case today. There are so many other things to consider then all clear when teaching my students a street crossings.
Are there any new vehicles on the road since the 2006 study that have changed some of the findings? How will driverless cars affect the findings? Has any technology been developed to help with detecting ongoing vehicles and the gap in traffic?
The scope, sequence, and presentation of materials were amazing. I've learned about situations (not crossings--*joke*) that I wouldn't have considered, and I've shadowed multiple O&M lessons!
Thank you so much for sharing your extensive experience in this area. It was so well delineated and organized/ spelled out.
Thank you very much for all your hard work and dedication to the field. This was a great learning experience.
This was very beneficial and will help me provide information for explaining difficulties for crossing at uncontrolled intersections.
The information within these sections was not only extremely useful, it was entertaining and sincere as well.
I liked the casual comentary and different visual and writen adaptations for different types of learners. It was a thoughtful studyguide.
Videos were very helpful in illustrating points and procedures. It would have been difficult to understand some of the procedures without the videos.
I felt the information was great but it was also confusing.
I wish we had clear tutorials like this for all O&M concepts!
great content. extremely detailed. reasonable for any O&Mer to apply
Thanks Donna for all of your efforts in compiling this wonderfully informative self-study guide!
I appreciated the videos and self reflection throughout. It is nice to read that other people are human, too.
great information and easy to understand!
Being new to the profession, this material was extremely helpful in getting me to be able to break down a complex problem into manageable teaching lessons. Thank you for all the time you have put into this!
Your thorough attention and concern for the subject, the highly pragmatic approach and instructional help made this a very valuable piece in my growth as an O&M Specialist.
The terms, process and checklist are well explain and are easy to understand.
Have the information available in Spanish
Great tool for study
I found some of the material difficult to read, as it appeared to contradict information worded differently in another section.
Great information with a lot of resources and examples. Thanks for share all this with us! =)
You have excellent information and resources. Thanks for sharing!
There is so much information to absorb and transfer to practical application, I feel more time in the course would have been suited for its full understanding. Like any toll with O&M doing it will be the only method of truly mastering or being able to teach it effectively. Thank you for this great tool and ll the work you put into it.
Material is overly verbose, and could be shortened significantly to improve readability and accessibility.
Repeats information a lot. A lot of text.
The materials and information presented were very helpful! Thank you!
I wish there were more things like this. CEU credits are expensive!
comprehensive and authoritative information.
Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication!
I am very new to O&M so I do not have much background information at this time.
Self-Study Guides/videos/pictures/examples...everything was incredibly helpful!
nice facts, many I knew, some I didn't.
I knew some of this information before taking the course, but some of the information I didn't know and realized I'd been "winging" it with my students and coming up with possible solutions to different scenarios.
This is very thorough and comprehensive information. I'm glad I came across this early in my career and will refer to it often.
excellent resource and training guide
Thanks for including the videos and for all the hard work you did putting this all together.
I just completely geeked out over this material. I loved the organization and clarity of the study guide, and all the videos that showcased instruction.
The bulk of my experience has been with elementary-aged students who are MIVI. I now am working with older students and I have one in particular who is more independent, but has Central Auditory Processing Disorder. I have been looking for better strategies to help them work on safe street crossing skills and this has given me great strategies and ideas to use with them!
It was good to have so many teaching examples
I really liked all the real-life scenarios of how to implement the lessons learned in this self-study guide.
